Hi, Using the Debian 11.0 bullseye installer:
with the text installer and setting the preseeding options like this: d-i debian-installer/locale string hu_HU d-i keyboard-configuration/xkb-keymap select hu I get an installer localized in Hungarian with Hungarian keyboard, and also the installed system is localized in Hungarian, with hungarian keyboard layout. An /etc/default/keyboard file exists and contains: XKBMODEL="pc105" XKBLAYOUT="hu" XKBVARIANT="" XKBOPTIONS="" So I think, your problem has been dealed with in the meantime. Closing this bug.
