The machine has 2 Ethernet ports plus wifi, all were detected correctly but the installer selected the wireless interface as the default. (and d-i netcfg/choose_interface select auto didn't seem to work). A full desktop environment was installed without prompting but I think this is a side effect of using priority=critical as a boot parameter. Please make sure that any installation logs that you think would be useful are attached to this report. (You can find them in the installer system in /var/log/ and later on the installed system under /var/log/installer.)
