There were some changes already, to address these issues. Could you try with a daily build from <https://cdimage.debian.org/cdimage/daily-builds/daily/arch-latest/amd64/iso-cd/> With guided partitioning, it depends on the size of the harddrive, of course, how much space is dedicated to /boot, BTW.
