In that case I should ensure that this comment is in the bug log: I believe that the reason in http://lists.debian.org/debian-release-0308/msg00025.html still applies, unfortunately. Fixing that would be up to the stable release manager (and I have no idea why it hasn't been done already - perhaps the right people simply haven't noticed).
