I'd suggest the first one of these as it is the more consistent with the Debian logo and graphics in general. We already use the logo, and the pink/red colour as a distinguishable look for leaflets handed out at expos and for Debian merchandising. For a professional look, which even a non-professional distro would do well to strive for, consistancy is the name of the game. It would be a shame to have a different look to the actual OS. Obviously all third party packages should be free to do as they please with regards graphics and look, but the Official Debian packages, so to speak, should have a look consistent through the distribution. This only really applies to the default theme for KDM, GDM and the installer and boot sequence, everything is up to the software they're using. If the CD packaging has one logo, the installer a second, the bootloader a forth and my display manager a sixth I may question how seriously these people are taking this distro. People do think with their eyes, unfortunate as that may be. So I'd suggest the logo Mark Riedesel (Klowner) designed on the boot installer gallery. Incidentally, what are the dimensions needed for the installer boot logo and colour limitations? yours, Stephen -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe". Trouble?
