Hi, unfortunately, I don't know whether sarge will support RAID1 (I believe that is what you meant when saying RAID) out of the box. I really hope so, because otherwise it would be a disadvantage of Debian compared to RH/MDK/SuSE. The good news is, that some people, notably Paul Fleischer, are working on that. See these mails:
