I apologize in advance for my ignorance. I don't know the difference between "install yaboot" and "yaboot-installer". I just try it and report what I think I see. My lack of knowledge of the detailed internals seems to have caused some confusion. This weekend, I have already promised to try out the latest boot floppy images. I will keep a detailed log of everything that happens and post it here. I sincerely hope this will help you figure out what needs to be done. Thanks!
