That's your decision to make, and I respect it, but keep in mind that at
least on OldWorld PowerPC Macs, if you boot from floppies, there is no
way to choose "expert" mode.  You get the default mode whether you like
it or not.  So you don't have any escape hatch to crawl out of when it
wants to do DHCP and you would rather not.
