Method:
Netinstall, no proxy.
Installation with default kernel 2.4.25 went OK. Installing with 2.6 kernel did not work because the ICH5 SATA drivers are probably not in the 2.6 kernel.
Machine: SuperMicro SuperServer 5013C-T Processor: Intel Pentium 4 2.80 Ghz Memory: 512 Mb Root Device: SATA HD Maxtor 120 GB Root Size/partition table: # fdisk -l /dev/hda # <- the same as /dev/hdb
Disk /dev/hda: 122.9 GB, 122942324736 bytes 16 heads, 63 sectors/track, 238216 cylinders Units = cylinders of 1008 * 512 = 516096 bytes
