Selecting a source such as ftp sets it up correctly but returns to the source selection dialog. * I don't have a dhcp connection and I know it. Not have to wait would be apprichiated (i.e a cancel detection button). * Lilo configuration is better in woody IMHO. I tried to skip the 'write only debian to bootsector' default config but it didn't work for me. * Partitioning is somewhat underdocumented (in the dialogs). --=20 Magnus Ekdahl 0739-287181 [EMAIL PROTECTED] [EMAIL PROTECTED] public key available at http://oxtan.campus.luth.se/magnus.public ftp://ftp.se.debian.org/debian-non-US/pool/non-US/main/d/debian-keyring/ Key fingerprint =3D 18DE CB62 8A86 374E 824E 09ED 1987 4B18 1213 79F6 --------------------------------------- Received: (at 229613-done) by bugs.debian.org; 6 May 2004 08:28:44 +0000 >From [EMAIL PROTECTED] Thu May 06 01:28:44 2004 Return-path: <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Received: from mother.ludd.ltu.se [130.240.16.3] by spohr.debian.org with esmtp (Exim 3.35 1 (Debian)) id 1BLeFH-0007iH-00; Thu, 06 May 2004 01:28:43 -0700 Received: from debian.org (oxtan.campus.luth.se [130.240.202.148]) by mother.ludd.ltu.se (8.12.10+Sun/8.12.10) with ESMTP id i468ScAr004520; Thu, 6 May 2004 10:28:41 +0200 (MEST) Message-ID: <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Date: Thu, 06 May 2004 13:04:17 +0200 From: Magnus Ekdahl <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux i686; en-US; rv:1.6) Gecko/20040413 Debian/1.6-5 X-Accept-Language: en MIME-Version: 1.0 To: Martin Michlmayr <[EMAIL PROTECTED]>, [EMAIL PROTECTED] Subject: Re: Installation Report References: <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> In-Reply-To: <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Content-Type: text/plain; charset=us-ascii; format=flowed Content-Transfer-Encoding: 7bit Delivered-To: [EMAIL PROTECTED] X-Spam-Checker-Version: SpamAssassin 2.60-bugs.debian.org_2004_03_25 (1.212-2003-09-23-exp) on spohr.debian.org X-Spam-Status: No, hits=-2.0 required=4.0 tests=BAYES_00 autolearn=no version=2.60-bugs.debian.org_2004_03_25 X-Spam-Level: X-CrossAssassin-Score: 1 Martin Michlmayr wrote: ... >>* Lilo configuration is better in woody IMHO. From my perspective the problem is solved.
