Comments/Problems:

The main goal of the test installation was to see if a system with a root lvm
was possible with the new debian-installer. I do not expect this too be hi on the
priorities
but would be good if it could be fixed.

Problem 1.

After I had partitioned the disk as a lvm filesystem type and when I entered the lvm
configuration the pvcreate was never run. I had to do this manually so that I could
proceed.

minor issue:- the setting up of lvm and configuring the disks is a very painful
process.
an automake process would be nice.

Problem 2.

When the system installed the new kernel, triied to do the installation of the kernel,
and
this failed because the devices for the vg's and lv's had not been created in the
target/dev
directory.

This basically stoped me from going any further.
