We use a completely new partitioning tool now. Can you please get an image from http://gluck.debian.org/cdimage/testing/sarge_d-i/ and try if this works on your hardware? > 2. Everything seems to install fine excepting the kernel. The red > screen comes up and says that the kernel failed. Does that work now? * Brian Knotts <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> [2004-02-03 13:20]: > I was eventually able to install the base system by manually > mounting /dev/ida/disc0/part1 on /target, but encountered lilo/grub problems, > so I reverted to installing from old woody compact floppy discs. :-( Can you try the new image as well and see if those LILO/GRUB problems are still there? I'm fairly sure we had some people using d-i on hardware like yours recently. -- Martin Michlmayr [EMAIL PROTECTED] -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe".
