However, "modprobe -v tg3" = results in "no hardware found" with sarge-i386-netinst.iso (beta3). tg3 works fine with Knoppix/SuSE/sarge-i386-businesscard.iso (beta3). I could net-install with businesscard. btw: bcm5700 also works fine. best regards Markus Haiml --------------------------------------- Received: (at 238648-done) by bugs.debian.org; 31 May 2004 15:06:50 +0000 >From [EMAIL PROTECTED] Mon May 31 08:06:50 2004 Return-path: <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Received: from sorrow.cyrius.com [65.19.161.204] by spohr.debian.org with esmtp (Exim 3.35 1 (Debian)) id 1BUoNG-0005SS-00; Mon, 31 May 2004 08:06:50 -0700 Received: by sorrow.cyrius.com (Postfix, from userid 10) id C042A64D3C; Mon, 31 May 2004 15:06:49 +0000 (UTC) Received: by deprecation.cyrius.com (Postfix, from userid 1000) id E646C101DB; Mon, 31 May 2004 11:54:29 -0300 (BRT) Date: Mon, 31 May 2004 11:54:29 -0300 From: Martin Michlmayr <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> To: Markus Haiml <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Cc: [EMAIL PROTECTED] Subject: Re: d-i beta3, modprobe tg3, netinst.iso Message-ID: <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> References: <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Mime-Version: 1.0 Content-Type: text/plain; charset=us-ascii Content-Disposition: inline In-Reply-To: <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> User-Agent: Mutt/1.5.6i Delivered-To: [EMAIL PROTECTED] X-Spam-Checker-Version: SpamAssassin 2.60-bugs.debian.org_2004_03_25 (1.212-2003-09-23-exp) on spohr.debian.org X-Spam-Status: No, hits=-3.0 required=4.0 tests=BAYES_00 autolearn=no version=2.60-bugs.debian.org_2004_03_25 X-Spam-Level: I'm closing this bug. 2.4 works and 2.6 does't work because currently the module doesn't exist; this will be fixed in the near future. -- Martin Michlmayr [EMAIL PROTECTED] -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe".
