No, this is beyond what I was talking about. The way we were doing it, we started with: #!/bin/sh -e Each call of di_system_prebaseconfig_append would result in a single cp operation for the file the function was working on to that skeleton script. It made no sense to generate such a dull script on the fly. You are right; we do need d-i automation. Someone has to do it... -- Joshua Kwan
