After doing autopartitioning, I choose a partition to edit. If I pick the Usage Method option from the menu (which has it listed as "format"), I get these choices: Use the partition as a swap area Use the partition as a physical volume for LVM Use the partition as a RAID device The first is the default. There is a noticible lack of a way to not use the partititon, and of a way to just format it. -- System Information: Debian Release: testing/unstable APT prefers unstable APT policy: (500, 'unstable'), (1, 'experimental') Architecture: i386 (i686) Kernel: Linux 2.4.25 Locale: LANG=3Den_US, LC_CTYPE=3Den_US --=20 see shy jo --KsGdsel6WgEHnImy Content-Type: application/pgp-signature; name="signature.asc" Content-Description: Digital signature Content-Disposition: inline -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v1.2.4 (GNU/Linux) iD8DBQFAqQ04d8HHehbQuO8RAkd5AJwPVWkIMStLmmhz8JUvu8h2WcV+wwCeLgHz yH5uKm7fmLmqdraNHAcuwbM= =lmqy -----END PGP SIGNATURE----- --KsGdsel6WgEHnImy-- --------------------------------------- Received: (at 249485-done) by bugs.debian.org; 10 Jul 2004 15:14:10 +0000 >From [EMAIL PROTECTED] Sat Jul 10 08:14:10 2004 Return-path: <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Received: from wavehammer.waldi.eu.org [82.139.196.55] (postfix) by spohr.debian.org with esmtp (Exim 3.35 1 (Debian)) id 1BjJYH-0006he-00; Sat, 10 Jul 2004 08:14:10 -0700 Received: by wavehammer.waldi.eu.org (Postfix, from userid 1000) id DFB1E3C022; Sat, 10 Jul 2004 17:14:06 +0200 (CEST) Date: Sat, 10 Jul 2004 17:14:06 +0200 From: Bastian Blank <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> To: [EMAIL PROTECTED] Subject: done Message-ID: <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Mime-Version: 1.0 Content-Type: text/plain; charset=utf-8 Content-Disposition: inline Content-Transfer-Encoding: quoted-printable User-Agent: Mutt/1.5.6+20040523i Delivered-To: [EMAIL PROTECTED] X-Spam-Checker-Version: SpamAssassin 2.60-bugs.debian.org_2004_03_25 (1.212-2003-09-23-exp) on spohr.debian.org X-Spam-Status: No, hits=-3.0 required=4.0 tests=BAYES_00 autolearn=no version=2.60-bugs.debian.org_2004_03_25 X-Spam-Level: This bug was fixed ages ago.
