Worked well.
Upgrading to 2.6 kernel would be easier if XF86Config-4 mouse
duplication was automatically fixed.
I would also have liked the option to partition using good ol' fashioned
fsidk, but the automatic partitioning worked well.

This is not an installer issue.

fdisk is available in d-i if you switch to VC2. However, you would still 
have to select mountpoints in the partitioner (partman).
Also, you can use the partman to manually define your partitioning scheme 
(giving the same flexibility as fdisk does).

Closing this bug report as there were no real issues.
