Comments/Problems:
        No hitches in installation.

        RC2 solves the problem in pre-rc2, where boot hangs in hwclockfirst,
        due to broken rtc, discussed here:
        http://lists.debian.org/debian-boot/2004/10/msg00898.html
        RTC is still broken on this box, but hwclock included in the
        util-linux included in rc2 recovers with a time-out.

        There is a remark on the relation between RTC, HPET and ACPI:
        http://lists.debian.org/debian-kernel/2004/09/msg00651.html
        There is a suggestion the generic RTC driver should allow
        coexistence between RTC and APIC:
        http://listes.cru.fr/wws/arc/suplibre/2004-11/msg00016.html

        The USB keyboard works out of the box, which was not the case in
pre-rc2.

        The onboard graphics controller works in VESA mode, here still in
        limited resolution, without graphics acceleration.
        There is a suggestion xorg-x11-sever >= 6.8 should provide
        more complete support for the i915 chipset.
        http://listes.cru.fr/wws/arc/suplibre/2004-11/msg00017.html

        An earlier install report mentioned the need to select
        IDE emulation mode for SATA drives in BIOS to install;
        with linux26, SATA native mode in BIOS also worked without
        special options.
        http://lists.debian.org/debian-boot/2004/11/msg00302.html
