- ---------- Forwarded Message ---------- Subject: Bug#283166: Debian Installer no longer runs in qemu Date: Saturday 27 November 2004 00:09 From: Frans Pop <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> To: Debian Bug Tracking System <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Package: qemu Version: 0.6.0.dfsg.2-1 Severity: important Tags: d-i I have been using qemu very intensively to do testinstalls and debugging for Debian Installer. Until now, this worked absolutely perfectly. Today I upgraded qemu and now, if I start d-i, I only get a black screen in the emulator window. The qemu monitor seems to work normally. Starting with the -nographic option results in qemu not starting completely and a complete hang. In despair, I've downgraded to the previous version. The system on which I run qemu is Sarge with current 2.6.8 kernel.
