reassign 286265 silo-installer thanks
Silo-installer already includes finish.d hooks so it is better for this patch to be applied there and not in partman-target.
This does not make any sense to me. For one thing, silo-installer runs after the base install. The whole point of my hook is to give user a chance to return to partman immediately if there is a problem, and correct it. If it is run from silo-installer, user will have to go through the base install (which can take ages on slow network/slow hardware) only to discover that silo will not function properly afterwards.
Another point is that silo-installer is completely independent of partman and thus does not contain any finish.d hooks. In fact, it is completely empty package, which only creates silo.conf and runs silo in its postinst.
Unless there are good counterarguments, please consider reassigning it back to partman-target (or other partman-related package, if appropriate).
