Hi Frans, Sorry this reply is so late, hectic times for me. re booting 2.4 kernel on AMD64 with SATA: I have tried installing Demudi_1.2.0-i386 and installer can't see disk for partitioning. I think that might be 2.4.18 kernel.. However demudi_1.2.1-rc1-i386 will see the disk and partition it, using kernel 2.4.27. However, then I have a reboot problem detailed in my dual-boot thread. I don't have Windows, can't test that. Using AMD AThlon 64 3000+, Gigabyte K8NSPro, Seagate SATA ST380013AS. Thanks, Norv
