Package: debian-installer Followup-For: Bug #288522
seeing as this no longer appears to be an issue directly related to the debian-installer, should i instead submit it as an important bug in the "wireless-tools" package? i feel this is probably the most appropriate package seeing as it is unlikely a problem with the entire 2.6 kernel, and i can't find another wlan-related package, but i suppose it could be an issue with a net config or system boot package. i'm not sure if this is related, but it appears that pcmcia card services are started after net config if i watch the init messages for both the 2.4 and 2.6 kernels (the sequence works for the 2.4 kernel, so i don't know why it wouldn't for 2.6, but its just something to be aware of). let me know what action i should take. thanks. -- System Information: Debian Release: 3.1 APT prefers testing APT policy: (650, 'testing'), (600, 'unstable') Architecture: i386 (i686) Kernel: Linux 2.6.7-1-k7 Locale: LANG=C, LC_CTYPE=C (charmap=ANSI_X3.4-1968) -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe".
