New developer?

Hi,
I'm a student of Politecnico di Torino, and a Debian User of Course. I know that "Centro di Competenza sul Software Libero" of Politecnico develop the new graphic Debian Installer.
I would try to help the Debian Installer developers, but I don't know how.

My skills are:

- C (good)
- gtk (basic)
- Java, XML, Web development, SQL.

If there are developers of Debian that work at Politecnico, I can also meet them.
