Hi-
	I just attempted an AMD64 install today, and the same problem  
happened, i.e. the installer runs 2.6.17 but it installs kernel  
2.6.16, which breaks HP servers (see http://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/ 
bugreport.cgi?bug=384202 ) .
