Package: tasksel
Version: 2.74

During an installation today I noticed the following errors in the syslog:
in-target: "my" variable @deps masks earlier declaration in same scope
at /usr/bin/tasksel line 535.
in-target: Use of uninitialized value in string eq at /usr/bin/tasksel line 529.
in-target: Use of uninitialized value in string eq at /usr/bin/tasksel line 529.
in-target: Use of uninitialized value in string eq at /usr/bin/tasksel line 529.
[... loads of repeats ...]
in-target: Use of uninitialized value in string eq at /usr/bin/tasksel line 529.
in-target: Reading package lists...

Note there are two errors: the first in 535 and a lot of repeats for 529.
The errors happen at the beginning of tasksel, in the syslog they are
shown right after popcon has been purged. The first probably happens
before the task dialog, the rest may happen after (6 seconds between
first and second).

As I already had perl installed at that point, this looks unrelated to the
perl-base issue.
IMO it would be nice to have this fixed in time for Beta2.

Cheers,
FJP
