FYI. I already have a reply from the kernel maintainer and he's forwarded the issue to his contact at nVidia, asking if they can confirm whether this specific hardware has broken MSI support or not. If that is the case, it will probably result in the controller being blacklisted for that in the kernel (making the boot option redundant). If nVidia says the controller does correctly support MSI, then it will probably need further investigation. Cheers, FJP
