        Hi,

Frederic Peters <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> - Sat, Jan 08, 2005:

> not yet updated mozilla-locale-fr).

You're reporting a bug which is only happening because your system has
mixed version numbers because of your "hold". Galeon might depend on a
strict Mozilla version in the future, but this causes pain when
updating. The general problem is Mozilla's libraries versioning, your
problem with the current system is mozilla-locale-fr being out-of-date,
and upstream didn't release updated translations.

I filed a report against mozilla-locale-fr (which isn't installable in
sid) requesting to deal nicely with new versions of Mozilla. I'll tag
it as "wontfix" ASAP, since this is a general problem in Mozilla, and
we all know this is going to last for a while.

I am closing this bug on Galeon side, since Galeon is installable and
works with current sid (and works as well in current sarge, with
sarge's mozilla), but I probably should file a bug similar to the one
on mozilla-locale-fr on Galeon since it suffers of the same problem.

   Regards,

PS: for your information, release team should remove the blocking locale
packages tonight.
