Package: gftp-gtk
Version: 2.0.17+cvs20041201-1
Severity: important
In either--gftp-gtk, and in gftp it doesn't matter what permissions I set in
"chmod", what always
happens is that the permissions get changed to rwxr--rwx. Funily, the
"filerunner' doesn't show this,
but when I upload to my server, the permissions do show changed. This made my
sites inaccessable
on, at least, two occassions--the permissions were sometimes rw-------, even.
And - I suspect that gftp changes my file specs too!(From files to apps.)

I have reproduced the bug, on my computer, but using the version from
Sarge. Actually the bug was fixed in the version in Sid. So please
upgrade to the latest version and it should work.
Closing the bug.
