Hi,
the debian/rules sets LD_ASSUME_KERNEL=2.4.24 and then everything goes
to hell on amd64:
[EMAIL PROTECTED]:~% LD_ASSUME_KERNEL=2.4.24 /bin/true
/bin/true: error while loading shared libraries: libc.so.6: cannot open shared
object file: No such file or directory
The glibc is not compiled with kernel 2.4 support and Debian-amd64
never had such a kernel.
Can you briefly explain why the option is needed or if it is save to
remove it on amd64? The changelog doesn't say when it was introduced
or why.
MfG
Goswin
