Package: udev
Version: 0.051-1
Severity: minor
While upgrading I got these warnings:
Preparing to replace udev 0.050-6 (using .../archives/udev_0.051-1_i386.deb)
...Unpacking replacement udev ...
dpkg: warning - unable to delete old file `/etc/udev/permissions.d': Directory

-rw-r--r-- 1 root root 2669 2004-12-15 22:35 udev.permissions
Could you add a check in the upgrading scripts to check these files
(*.dpkg-old) and files which their contents get into the new config.
Thanks,
lior Kaplan

No. This is standard dpkg behaviour, and there is no way to
automatically convert permissions files to rules files.
