Package: mozilla-thunderbird
Version: 0.8-3
Severity: normal
I tried to install the XPI, but Thunderbird refused to start after that.
So i removed the lock files and ensured with a grep that I cleaned all
configfiles in my home directory from the
enigmail entries.
But it still doesn't work :-(
The main problem is that there are no logfiles or error messages, so it's
pretty complicated to debug from here.
It would be good to make TB more failure resistand or at least print out more
errormessages if initialisation
fails. This makes the package almost unusable, if have to repair TB for 1h+
after I tried to install an extension
