When building 'gsfonts-wadalab' with gcc-3.4 on amd64
I get the following error:

With the attached patch 'gsfonts-wadalab' can be compiled using gcc-3.4
on amd64.
This was pointed out to me by Kaare Hviid <[EMAIL PROTECTED]>.

Description:
gsfonts-wadalab-common - Japanese symbol fonts for the ghostscript interpreter
gsfonts-wadalab-gothic - Japanese gothic fonts for the ghostscript interpreter
gsfonts-wadalab-mincho - Japanese mincho fonts for the ghostscript interpreter
Closes: 270652
Changes:
gsfonts-wadalab (0.20010409-7) unstable; urgency=low
.
* Apply patch from Andreas Jochen (Closes: #270652)
* Change the check code for root ($$EUID -> $$UID),
I don't know if this can solve the problem in #266381,
but anyway try this.
(dh_testroot uses $<, and it means $UID according to manpage.)
