Zile is a light console text editor with an Emacs feel. But I think
its lake of major emacs features (such as elisp scriptability)
disqualifies it as an emacs alternative. Zile does not aim at being an
Emacs equivalent.
Note that, zile already participate in the alternatives mechanism for
'editor' which is more in sync with zile features.
I'm closing this bug. Feel free to reopen it if you strongly disagree,
we will then request an external and authoritative decision from other
Debian developers.=20
