This is a repeat of bug #115690, but that bug seems to have expired.
I just wanted to note that this problem is still present for me, and
in fact is worse in 0.9.8-1 than in the 0.9.7 series.
The preferences window is still 885x697, larger than my screen. But now it
always appears with its bottom-right corner in the bottom-right of my
screen, thus missing the top and left sides. (Previously, it had its
top-left in my top-left, missing the bottom and right, which contain less
of importance.)
Resizing the window doesn't help -- it just comes back at the old size and
place next time I open it.
