Subject: some sounds get played with doubled speed

Package: asd4
Version: 0.2-2
Severity: minor

For some reason, the WAV files that are provided by Microsoft in Windows (in
windows\media), when I play them through asd (using esdplay), play with the
speed doubled. This is really more an annoying inconvenience for me than
anything (I use one of them xchat beep sound for any message, and another
copy of same recorded at double speed is supposed to indicate a message
direct to me; the end result is that I keep thinking I'm getting lots of
messages direct to me :) )

I don't know if this is another indicator of Microsoft 'quality' or anything
else; all I really know is that this doesn't happen when I'm running esd
instead of asd.
