Hi. Today I tested firefox from experimental.
I noticed an annoying but cosmetical bug: The new firefox
"user-interface" (call it "theme") conflicts with gnome.
It's hard to explain, but with the default installed theme the
"dropdown"-button and the adressbar don't match the firefox theme and
somehow collide. That is also the case with the dropdown menu of the
back and forward buttons.
I am using more or less the future of gnome in debian = every
experimental package for it. This also includes gtk2-engines (in case
you want to know).
A screenshot is attached.
I hope you don't consider this report to be useless, anyways I didn't
dare to send it to [EMAIL PROTECTED]
Greets,
Alex

What gnome theme are you using? Still happening with iceweasel? I don't
see this.
I had completely forgotten about this bug report. No matter which theme
I was using this error occured in the firefox 2.0 beta packages from
experimental.
Now with iceweasel it is gone - explains why you can't reproduce it.
Thanks again; now I know why I love Debian :).
Whoops, really close.
