Package: mozilla
Version: 2:1.0.0-0.woody.1
Severity: normal
On the website http://www.matthew.ath.cx/, the weserver returns an
application/xhtml+xml mimetype, indicating it is an XML document, with
an XHTML document type definition. The stylesheet this page references
via a <link rel .../> tag has body { background: #557; } defined, but
mozilla doesn't honour this and renders a white background. This only
happens when using the xml mimetype, reporting a text/html mimetype
renders correctly, and all other background: definitions on other
elements seem to be rendered correcty in both modes. View the site in
Opera 7 (which uses the application/xhtml+xml mimetype and renders it
correctly) or Internet Explorer (which is given a text/html mimetype)
for the correct rendering.
