The only gaim plugin that I have activated is gaim-irchelper.

This is Gaim misbehaving while accessing DBus. That clearly has nothing
to do with gaim-irchelper.   I'm closing this bug.


OK, fair enough.

For the record, I have not experienced this problem since purging and re-installing gaim and also updating libgtk2.0-0 using the Unstable repository.
