Package: debian-installer
Using the etch RC1 release of Debian installer.
*When the hostname defined contains '-' (the dash character), like
"lsn-prc-z1-01"
* Automatic partionning using a single partition with LVM is selected
The partitioner fails with the following error:
Could not stat device /dev/mapper/lsn-prc-z1-01-root - No such file of
directory
ERROR!!!
This is due to the device being created with twice the dashes.
# ls /dev/mapper
control lsn--prc--z1--01-root
#
Thanks for your work !

This issue was fixed in version 20 of partman-auto-lvm and should no
longer occur if you use a current daily built image.
Thanks for reporting though.
