Hi!

It's all in the subject - preview is grayed out, despite both mplayer (from
marillat's debian-multimedia.org repo) and vlc being installed. This quite
limits the usability of the app. I also tried Custom option, and specified

/usr/bin/mplayer -identify -osdlevel 2 -ss ${seconds} -sub "${subfile}"
"${videofile}"

as the player, but it didn't help either.

% dpkg -l mplayer vlc | grep ^.i
ii mplayer 1.0-rc1-0.0 The Ultimate Movie Player For Linux
ii vlc 0.8.6-svn20061012.debian-1 multimedia player and streamer

Regards,
Zoran

No new replies since 2 months, so I guess this was just a
misunderstanding and I can simply close this bug.
