Hello,
  my kernel is 2.6.10-1-686, after i make 
  nvidia-kernel-2.6.10-1-686_1.0.7167-1_i386.deb
  (following README), and I run `modprobe nvidia', 
  I got the error information:

FATAL: Error inserting nvidia
(/lib/modules/2.6.10-1-686/nvidia/nvidia.ko): Invalid module format

There is no error under kernel 2.6.10-1-686-smp
