Package: gnome-control-center
Version: 1:2.10.2-1
Severity: normal
Hi,
It seems that the environment is not set for applications launched through a
keybinding defined in gnome-keybinding-properties.
As an example, if I launch evolution through the defined keybinding, it does
not take into account running seahorse-agent, and fails to sign/encrypt outgoing
e-mail. I don't have this problem when evolution is launched manually (terminal
emulator or icon).
This problem happens if seahorse-agent is launched by gnome-session, or manually
after the session starts. It does not happen when invoked in ~/.gnomerc
More over, evolution takes a longer time to launch when using key binding than
when
clicking on an icon.
I think it is a problem of start order (does gnome-session start *after* the
"daemon"
that manages the key bindings?), but don't know how to prove that.
This bug may also have been reported to gnome-session, please feel free to
move/copy
it if needed.
I can do other tests if you want.
Cheers,
Julien

It seems to work now, I have updated a bunch of packages to the current
experimental versions (but *not* gnome-control-center, which is
2.14.2-7).
I have no idea what really fixed the issue, but I close the bug anyway.
Cheers,
Julien
