Package: mysql-server
Version: 4.0.20-13

When upgrading, my.cnf is replaced by the default package one, erasing any
modificated configuration what have been done. It's really annoying.

I am using Debian GNU/Linux SID, kernel 2.6.6-2-686-smp
  and libc6 2.3.2.ds1-16

I'm closing these bug reports as they were quite old and flagged
unreproducible for a white.
