Package: puppetmaster
Version: 0.20.1-1
Severity: normal

The configuration directives allow and deny in fileserver.conf limits which
clients are allowed to connect to the server. They currently only support
DNS-patterns and IPv4-patterns. As puppet supports IPv6, they should allow for
IPv6-patterns as well. Currently, puppetmaster -v reports the following upon
entering both IPv4 and IPv6 allow directives:

info: /etc/puppet/files: allowing *.samfundet.no access
info: /etc/puppet/files: allowing 129.241.93.0/24 access
info: /etc/puppet/files: allowing 2001:700:300:1800::/64 access
Invalid pattern 2001:700:300:1800::/64 in file /etc/puppet/fileserver.conf at
line 5

Expected behaviour would be to accept the IPv6-pattern as well.
