Package: digikam
Version: 1:0.9.0~beta3-3
Severity: important
My digital camera, a Canon powershot, is properly detected when attached to the
USB bug but choosing "Digikam detect and download" leads to a kioexec error:
file or folder / doesn't exist
please note that issuing digikam --detect-camera from the command line works
perfectly ok, at least for me. After further investigation I came across this
bug reported upstream:
http://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=117248
the hack suggested there didn't work for me. I hope this will be fixed soon,
it's a terrible usability hinderance for new users, thanks, andrea
