Package: gnome-mime-data
Version: 2.4.2-2
Severity: normal
M$-Windows files are unrecognised. When attempting to open them, you get a
"couldn't open foo" message.
I thought this could be caused by file/libmagic returning application/x-dosexec
as mime type rather than application/x-ms-executable, but changing it in
gnome-vfs.{keys,mime} and /etc/mime.types didn't result.

I'm closing this bug as there have been no activity, or no response to
followup questions, and new releases of the package in question which
likely has fixed this bug or made it obsolete.
Feel free to reopen the report if you think the bug still is valid.
