gtk-gnutella will crash at apparently random intervals. Sometimes it
runs for a few minutes, or hours, or even a couple days, and sometimes
it crashes on startup. What follows is the output from a time that it

Version: 0.96.3-1

This bug has been fixed upstream since 0.96.3. Changelog says:
"Fixed buggy utf8_is_valid_data()" (svn rev12217).

Fix is now shipped in Debian with 0.96.3-1, already uploaded to
unstable. Thus, I'm now closing the report.
