Package: security.debian.org
Severity: wishlist

Hi,

in the main Debian archives, there are files project/trace/$MIRROR
containing timestamps when the mirror was last changed.

Please consider adding such a file to project/trace/security.debian.org.

This would have the following positive effects:

  - the same mirroring scripts could be used for security and the main
archives at the sites that prefer to ignore your recommendation and
keep a local mirror of s.d.o.
  - mirror sites only need to stat project/trace/security.debian.org
instead of scanning the entire directory tree.

Thank you very much, please keep up the great work.

Greetings
Marc
