Subject: galeon: cannot stop 'generate private key'
Package: galeon
Version: 1.3.11a-2
Severity: normal
I am connecting for the first time to my home bancking web site.
At the first connect every customer has to create a certificate that will
be used for identifying himself during the following session.
When connecting, the first time with galeon, I have a popup window that
says 'Generating Private Key. Please wait while a new private key is generated.
This process could take a few minutes.'
I have been waiting for four hours now and I would like to stop it.
The problem is that there is nor 'stop/cancel/abort' button, so I can't.
If I start a new galeon window then the new window will not open but will not
work (it will not accept any keyboard or mouse event.)
I think that such button is a requirement.
Moreover I will try to connect to same site using mozilla, so that I will
check if the problem of not generating the key is common. If it's not I
will add a second message to this report.
Bye,
Giuseppe

I guess this was using the window.crypto stuff. I've tested it
successfully a few weeks ago with all mozilla-based applications
currently in Debian, so I'll assume this issue is gone now, but please
feel free to reopen if I am wrong.
Thanks
Mike
