Package: cpio
Version: 2.7-2

Since 2.7 I see errors using uz which is just doing:
        bzip2 -cd | cpio -idv
e.g.
[EMAIL PROTECTED]:~/working/desktop$ bzip2 -cd ~/Desktop/desktop.tar.bz2 | cpio
-idv
cpio: Malformed number
cpio: Malformed number
home/knux/.config/xfce4/desktop

cpio: Malformed number

The tarball is at:
http://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=372091;msg=17;filename=desktop.tar.bz2;att=1

tar xjf doesn't complain about it at all.

I'm on amd64 if that makes a difference.

Simon.
