Hello,
After adding the rule to update the source to a new version, I made
a package for the 8.33.6 release.
I have been running this package for quite a while (I have Radeon
Mobility X1400) and the only issue is that occasionally the text
consoles are unusable (green rectangles appear and there is no text
visible); X sessions are ok.
My package is available at:

I am thinking of updating to the newest release from ATI, 8.35.5
since it seems to solve my issue. If I'll do this, I shall add the
source package on alioth, too.
